AUC Chairperson this morning received H.E. Amb. Albert Shingiro, his Special Envoy to the Republic of Gabon and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, this morning received H.E. Amb. Albert Shingiro, his Special Envoy to the Republic of Gabon and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The Chairperson congratulated the Envoy on his appointment and conveyed his full confidence in his mandate to support the peaceful and effective implementation of the judgment rendered by the International Court of Justice on 19 May 2025, in a manner that promotes dialogue, mutual trust, and sustainable good-neighbourly relations.

Amb. Shingiro expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him and briefed the Chairperson on his forthcoming engagements aimed at advancing consultations and fostering a spirit of cooperation between the parties.
