CONCORD, N.H. - Today, Governor Ayotte presided over her second Governor and Council meeting since being sworn in last week.
"We had a great first Governor and Council meeting today," said Governor Ayotte. "I'm grateful for this opportunity to serve our state and look forward to working with all of the Councilors to deliver for all of New Hampshire."
Highlights from today's meeting included:

A Celtic and New England folk music performance by Liz Faiella and Dan Faiella of Northwood, a sister and brother musical duo.

Governor Ayotte's commendation of Mr. Frederick Antell of Tuftonboro, who created his own "Safety4Life" bumper sticker to promote safe driving. Mr. Antell is 100 years old, has driven over 1.5 million miles, and has never had a traffic violation.

A visit with the fifth grade class from Chesterfield School, who visited the State House today to testify in support of naming the opossum as the state marsupial.
