"Kristi Noem was the most corrupt, unqualified and cruel official to serve in this role, and I have been calling for her to be fired for months.

Under her watch, we've seen Americans killed on the streets, ICE invading schools, and totally inhumane violence that she is unable to even answer basic questions about. She's used the office for her personal gain, and wasted millions in taxpayer dollars.

Noem's firing shows that when we keep the pressure on, we can exercise oversight over the Trump Administration's disastrously inhumane overreach. But Noem was just the tip of an organization that needs to be reigned in - I will continue to hold DHS and ICE to account."
