Delaware State Fire Commission to Host Swearing-In Ceremony for New State Fire School Director

The Delaware State Fire Commission will conduct the official swearing-in ceremony for Matthew M. Dodds, the sixth Director of the Delaware State Fire School, during the Commission's regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

The ceremony will take place at the Delaware State Fire Prevention Commission building, located at 1463 Chestnut Grove Road, Dover, Delaware 19904.

The Commission invites members of the public, members of Delaware's fire and EMS services, state and local officials, and members of the media to attend the ceremony and join the Commission in welcoming Director Dodds to his new position.
