Jeanette Maher, Grad '23, assistant director of national recruitment in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, has been elected as a board director on the executive board of the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling.
Based in Illinois, Maher works extensively with prospective Marquette students and families in the greater Chicago area. An eight-year member of IACAC, she serves on several committees, including: Inclusion, Access, and Success; College Awareness Programming; Scholarship; Conference Planning; and National College Fair. As a board member serving a three-year term, she will act as a representative to support and advance the work of counselors as they help students realize their full educational potential.
"I am so excited for Jeanette and this incredible opportunity, and I am so proud of the ways she has grown over her career in admissions," said Patrick Correia-Harker, director of undergraduate admissions recruitment. "What has been consistent is her care, support and advocacy of students throughout their college search process. Our office is deeply grateful to have her on our team, and I am excited that her colleagues in IACAC are witness to her dedication, organization and collaborative spirit."
