NEW YORK, NY - May 26, 2026 -The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE: EL) announced that the company and several of its brands presented a range of novel findings at the 21st Annual Symposium for Cosmetic Advances & Laser Education (SCALE) Conference, held this month in Nashville. SCALE is the premier aesthetics and medical dermatology symposium, where leading aesthetic and medical dermatologists come together to share emerging science and clinical innovation.

"At The Estée Lauder Companies, our scientists continue to push the boundaries of skin and hair research, advancing scientific insights into areas such as glycation, cellular communication, UV protection, and sensitive skin biology," said Claude Saliou, PhD, Senior Vice President, Advanced Technologies and Global Consumer and Clinical Sciences, The Estée Lauder Companies. "The findings presented at SCALE demonstrate how our teams are combining clinical research with advanced technologies to deliver prestige skincare innovations backed by rigorous science."

Research findings were presented on behalf of the company by select external partners and board-certified dermatologists, Dr. Jacqueline Watchmaker and Dr. Michael Gold, at Continuing Medical Education sessions at the conference. Dr. Jacqueline Watchmaker, MD, Center for Aesthetic and Laser Medicine Scottsdale, presented data on glycation and technologies to target their accumulation in the skin. Dr. Michael Gold, MD, Founder and Medical Director, Gold Skin Care Center, presented new findings from Clinique to support the new UV Solutions product franchise as well as La Mer's periorbital science tied to the latest Rejuvenating Eye Cream launch.

Estée Lauder hosted a symposium titled, "The Biology of Night Repair: Circadian Epigenetic Regulation, microRNA Signaling, and Exosome-Mediated Cellular Communication." The session was presented by Selma Masri, PhD, University of California, Irvine; Rishabh Kala, PhD, Lead Scientist, Estée Lauder; and Ted Lain, MD, MBA, DOCS Dermatology. Dr. Masri discussed the role of the circadian clock in health and disease and the importance of maintaining healthy biological rhythms as we age. In his presentation, Dr. Kala presented data on skin circadian rhythm and the role of miRNA signaling in comprehensive skin repair. Finally, Dr. Lain delivered new in vitro findings on the soothing benefits of a plant-derived exosome ingredient and the clinical results of an upcoming product launch in an existing franchise containing this technology.

Lisa DiNatale, Director, Clinical Testing (Skincare), La Mer Max Huber Research Laboratories, presented research findings on a "Macrocystis pyrifera ferment-containing serum demonstrates efficacy in addressing rosacea, eczema, and extreme sensitive skin" detailing mechanistic and clinical evidence that the serum supports barrier repair, modulates neuroinflammatory signaling, and significantly improves erythema, dryness, itching, and tolerability in sensitive and hyperreactive skin. The serum was also confirmed to be appropriate for individuals with rosacea and eczema prone skin.
