Southfield Parks & Recreation to host Black History Month Movie Matinee February 23

Black History Month Movie Matinee, will feature the 2024 film Shirley, on Sunday, February 23 at 3 p.m. The film, starring Regina King, is an intimate portrayal of trailblazing political icon Shirley Chisholm, the first Black Congresswoman and the first Black woman to run for President of the United States. This film is rated PG-13. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.
