Help Choose the New Decatur Woods Park Playground!
The playground at Decatur Woods Park is getting replaced next year, and we need your help to choose the new design. There are six proposals to choose from, each offering different play experiences. Visit Engage Olympia to check out the options and vote for your favorite by October 18.

Crowdsourced Poetry Night: Lost, Recorded, Found, Read

Come for an evening of crowdsourced poetry, where the audience shapes the reading, hosted by Olympia's Poet Laureate, Ocean. Bring a poem you love or a recording from a passed poet. Together, we'll put a ton of poems and words in a room and see what happens. For more information, contact [email protected].

Ina's Scholarship Fund: Creating Opportunities
At the heart of Ina's Fund is opportunity. The fund helps make camps, classes and other programs more accessible, giving kids opportunities to take part in summer camps, and adults a chance to try something new or stay active when cost might otherwise be a barrier. In 2025, the fund supported 70 kids and 16 adults, providing more than $16,800 in scholarships. So far in 2026, 59 kids and 20 adults have received more than $13,200 in assistance. If you'd like to help sustain the fund for years to come, you can make a direct donation, add an extra gift when registering for one of our classes or programs, or consider establishing an endowment to provide lasting support. Every contribution helps keep these opportunities available in our community. Looking for scholarship assistance? Learn more about eligibility and how to apply for Ina's Scholarship Fund here.
