UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Host Bureau of Reclamation Webinar March 25

Small-business owners, entrepreneurs, startups, contractors and suppliers will have the opportunity to learn about how to do business with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's Columbia Pacific Northwest Region Wednesday, March 25.

A Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar, titled "How to Do Business with the Bureau of Reclamation: Your Path to Federal Success," is scheduled from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free. The event is organized by the Boise District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. SBA.

The mission of the Bureau of Reclamation is to manage, develop and protect water and related resources in an environmentally and economically sound manner in the interest of the American public.

During the webinar, attendees will:

-- Learn about the different ways to partner with the agency.

-- Receive an informative overview of forecasted procurement actions that are currently listed on the Acquisition Gateway, the official online platform for government acquisition programs, policies, initiatives and tools.

-- Obtain a comprehensive overview of the wide variety of goods and services -- including the commodities, services and construction -- the Bureau of Reclamation procures to support its missions.

-- Learn about the official sources for finding Bureau of Reclamation solicitations and other federal contract opportunities.
