The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is pleased to announce that Megan Provost has joined the AFIA as its new chief operating officer, effective Oct. 20. In this role, Provost is responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic execution and cohesion across the organization. "The AFIA is delighted to welcome Megan Provost as AFIA's new chief operating officer. Megan brings a proven record of leadership and collaboration that will strengthen our internal systems and enhance the value we deliver to members," stated AFIA's President and CEO Constance Cullman. "As a trusted advisor to the executive team, she will help lead the development and implementation of initiatives that advance AFIA's strategic goals, foster transparency and promote a productive and mission-driven culture." |

Provost hails from central Indiana where she grew up on a farm, participated in 4-H and FFA and showed horses. Provost joins the AFIA with more than two decades of proven leadership in agricultural policy, trade association management and public affairs. Most recently, she served as president of the RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment), where she led strategic growth and strengthened the industry's advocacy efforts. Her career also includes positions with the Farm Foundation, Dow AgroSciences, U.S. Senate, U.S. Department of Agriculture and American Farm Bureau Federation. With her deep commitment to agriculture and member advocacy, Provost's leadership will help advance AFIA's mission and influence across the agricultural industry. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School, and both a master's in agricultural economics and a bachelor's in agribusiness from Oklahoma State University. |
