DIFI Coordinating with Health Insurance Plans to Confirm Continued Coverage of COVID-19 Vaccines
September 15, 2025 - Pursuant to the Governor's Office Executive Order 2025-12 , the Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions (DIFI) has surveyed Arizona's Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance plans across the state to promote continued coverage of COVID-19 vaccines.
The responses have been positive, with 87% of insurers responding and indicating that they will continue to provide COVID-19 vaccines for all members at zero cost. Consumers are urged to work with their plan to confirm specifics prior to scheduling a vaccine.
DIFI will continue to coordinate with and encourage health insurance plans to continue to cover COVID-19 vaccines
