Notice of temporary suspension of banking services

Dear Valued Customers,

To enhance security and convenience, Shinhan Bank hereby announces a temporary suspension of services for system upgrades, as follows:

  • Time: From 00:00 Saturday, August 30th, 2025 to 05:00, Sunday, 31st August, 2025 (29 hours)
  • Affected Services:

1. Completely Unavailable

  • Internet Banking (Personal and Corporate)
  • Mobile Banking
  • ATM, STM services
  • Debit card and Napas Card transactions

2. Partially Available

  • Credit card transactions (Limited offline use only)
    • VISA: Up to USD 2,000/10 transactions/day
    • MasterCard: Up to USD 2,750/4 transactions/day

※ Online transactions: Completely Unavailable

  • POS service for merchants
    • VISA and MasterCard transactions: Available
    • QR payment, Napas card: Completely Unavailable
