Winsome Earle-Sears Refuses to Condemn Running Mate’s Pro-Nazi, Racist Social Media Posts Arrow

While even Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin previously called on Winsome Earle-Sears' running mate, John Reid, to drop out after it surfaced that an account allegedly linked to Reid has repeatedly shared pro-Nazi and racist content on his social media account, Winsome Earle-Sears still refuses to condemn Reid's posts or call on him to drop out as more details have come to light.

In response, DNC Spokesperson Albert Fujii released the following statement:

"Winsome Earle-Sears' refusal to condemn her running mate's pro-Nazi, racist rhetoric is deeply disturbing and disqualifying, yet ultimately unsurprising. While Earle-Sears continues to refuse to condemn Donald Trump and John Reid's extreme behavior that harms Virginians, Abigail Spanberger is fighting to make Virginia more affordable and welcoming to everyone. Virginians deserve a champion like Spanberger who will fight for them, and not Donald Trump and his creepy buddies."
