The City of Hollywood and Memorial Healthcare System are proud to continue their partnership with the ongoing Health Education and Response Outreach (HERO) Program, bringing vital CPR and AED training to the community.
Cardiac arrest outside of a hospital setting is a critical situation, with survival rates as low as 10%. However, research shows that by improving bystander CPR and AED use, survival chances can increase by 2-3 times. The HERO Program continues to offer free CPR and AED training sessions led by Memorial Healthcare System's skilled medical team, available to all at locations across Hollywood.
These hands-on, free sessions are held at various locations throughout the City of Hollywood, ensuring the opportunity to learn life-saving skills is accessible to everyone. No prior experience is needed-just a willingness to learn and help make a difference.
Together, we can build a stronger, safer community by equipping individuals with the knowledge and confidence to act in emergencies. Join us in continuing to spread life-saving skills and save lives!
