Sebastian Klingen joins Dentons as partner in the Corporate/M&A practice in Düsseldorf

Dusseldorf-Global law firm Dentons is expanding its corporate and transactional advice in Germany with the recruitment of Sebastian Klingen, who has joined the firm as a partner in the Düsseldorf office. An experienced M&A lawyer, he advises companies on complex national and cross-border M&A transactions as well as on general corporate law issues.

Sebastian Klingen has more than 15 years of experience in advising companies and investors on transactions in the infrastructure, media, chemicals and pharmaceutical sectors. He advises listed corporations and family businesses on complex acquisitions and joint ventures. One focus of his practice is advising international (especially Japanese) companies on investments and M&A transactions in Germany and Europe and advising German companies on their cross-border transaction projects. He joins Dentons from Linklaters.

With the new addition, the Düsseldorf office now has 12 partners and a total of over 30 professionals. In June 2025, leading digital lawyer Jan Pohle joined the Düsseldorf office as a partner. In October 2024, the office also welcomed energy and transaction partner Dr. Kerstin Henrich, and Düsseldorf real estate lawyer Alexander Mühleisen was promoted to partner in April 2025.
