New Air Supply 1 placed in service
The new Cambridge Fire "Air Supply/Incident Support Unit" was placed in service on March 17, 2026. This unit is mounted on a Ford F550, 4-wheel drive chassis (the former tech rescue trailer prime mover).
With a multi-task capability, this apparatus also carries a portable generator, portable scene lights, portable light towers, a portable shellter canopy, several fire extinguishers of various classes, a thawing device, ice melt, hot weather & cold weather rehab supplies (ice packs, wipes, gloves, etc.), & much much more.
