President Donald J. Trump Increases Federal Cost Share for Florida

WASHINGTON -- Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Administrator, Robert Fenton, announced that President Donald J. Trump made additional disaster assistance available to the state of Florida to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Michael from October 7-19, 2018.

The President authorized the federal cost-share for Public Assistance to be increased from 75% to 90% of the total eligible costs, except assistance previously approved at 100%. The major declaration made federal funding available for Public Assistance, Individual Assistance, Hazard Mitigation and other assistance for total eligible costs.
