NATCA Legislative Committee Member Provides Update to U.S. Rep. Brittany Petterson During Labor Roundtable Event

NATCA National Legislative Committee Member Jenny Benjamin (Denver Center, ZDV) recently attended a Labor Roundtable Event, giving an update to other labor leaders as well as U.S. Representative Brittany Petterson (Colo.-7) concerning NATCA's successes and hardships during the recent government shutdown. Benjamin spoke about one of NATCA's priorities, which is ensuring that members get paid during any future government shutdown. There was also discussion about the Mental Health in Aviation bill and how important it is for that legislation to be enacted into law.

Other unions in attendance discussed some of the challenges they have faced over the past year, including the government shutdown.
