Sergeant Ken Salas' Memorial Service, Additional Road Closures/Revisions

The Spokane Police Department would like to advise community members of additional temporary road closures/revisions set for tomorrow (8/20) in preparation of the memorial service for Sergeant Ken Salas. All the traffic revisions are set to begin around 9 a.m.

The revisions are as follows:

  • Southbound traffic on Division at Sharp will be closed. Traffic will be diverted west to Monroe or east towards Hamilton.
  • Southbound Washington from Boone to Spokane Falls Boulevard will be closed. Traffic will be diverted west towards Monroe.
  • Washington and North River Drive will be closed for several hours.
  • Washington and Spokane Falls Boulevard will be closed to northbound traffic until roughly 3 p.m.
  • Division and Riverside will be closed to northbound traffic until roughly 12:30 p.m.
  • Assembly between Wellesley and Francis will be closed from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

If you are planning to travel to a location near these traffic revisions, please plan ahead and give yourself extra time.
