IDNR invites potential vendors to pre-bid meeting for restaurant operation at Lincoln Trail State Park

SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) invites interested vendors to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting for operating a restaurant with a bait shop and boat rental at Lincoln Trail State Park in Clark County.

The pre-bid meeting will occur at the restaurant concessions area at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1. During the meeting, participants will receive essential details on the bid submission process, contract terms, expectations and requirements.


IDNR encourages all interested vendors to register in BidBuy, the State of Illinois' online procurement gateway, at https://www.bidbuy.illinois.gov. There is no cost to register. Additional site-specific concessions information is available on the BidBuy website . Search NIGP code 961-15 to receive notifications for upcoming IDNR concession pre-bid meetings.
Lincoln Trail State Park
is at 16985 E. 1350th Road near Marshall in Clark County. The site is named after the trail Abraham Lincoln's family followed enroute from Indiana to Illinois in 1831. The park features boating, camping, fishing, hiking, hunting and picnicking opportunities. The restaurant and concessions are open April 1 through Oct. 31. In 2024, the park attracted nearly 200,000 visitors.
