Whatever place the organization's assigned Derby horse finished in during 151st running determined the prize amount award.
The remaining organizations randomly selected for the Charity Post Draw earned $2500. For those not selected, they had more opportunities to win cash prizes for their organizations during the Second Chance and Supporter Drawings.
"We're incredibly proud of the generosity shown through 'Winsday' and the overwhelming community response," said Claire Simms, CDI's Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility. "This initiative was about more than just a race day; it was about celebrating and supporting some of the nonprofits that make our region stronger, more compassionate and more connected."
"We're especially grateful to the Community Foundation of Louisville for their invaluable partnership in helping us bring this vision to life," said Mark Whitten, CDI's Director of Community Relations. "We hope to build on 'Winsday's' momentum in the years to come and are committed to growing our support for nonprofits through enrichment and continued collaboration."
