The City of St. Louis invites residents, stakeholders and community partners to participate in two significant upcoming PlanSTL neighborhood planning events in the North St. Louis neighborhoods that are part of Plan Areas 3 and 5.

These events represent important milestones in the City's ongoing efforts to shape inclusive, community-driven neighborhood plans and progress for tornado recovery.

Plan Area 3: Baden & North Pointe Draft Neighborhood Plan Open House

The City welcomes community members to attend an interactive open house to review the draft neighborhood plan for Baden and North Pointe (Plan Area 3). This event marks the beginning of the public review phase ahead of anticipated adoption by the Planning Commission in the spring.

  • Date: Wednesday, Feb. 4
  • Time: 4-7 p.m.
  • Location: North Park United Methodist Church
    1525 Orchid Ave.

Designed as a go-at-your-own-pace workshop, the Baden and North Pointe open house will feature interactive stations where attendees can review and provide feedback on the draft plan's vision, goals and strategies. Plan topics include:

  • Housing & Vacancy
  • Economic Development
  • Arts, Culture & Community
  • Sustainability & Resilience
  • Public Space, Architecture & Design
  • Transportation & Mobility

The draft recommendations for Baden and North Pointe have been shaped by extensive community engagement and outreach conducted over the past year. Community members are welcome to attend at any point during the event.

RSVP is recommended but not required. Registration is available at planstl.eventbrite.com.

Plan Area 5: Academy, Fountain Park & Lewis Place Neighborhood Plan Launch Party

The City also invites residents to celebrate the official launch of the Plan Area 5 Neighborhood Planning Initiative, serving Academy, Fountain Park and Lewis Place.

  • Date: Thursday, Feb. 12
  • Time: 5-8 p.m.
  • Location: Third Degree Glass Factory
    5200 Delmar Blvd.

This launch event will introduce the Neighborhood Planning Committee and planning partners and provide residents with an opportunity to share their vision for the future of their neighborhoods. The evening will include live music and entertainment by local artists and performers, along with dinner and children's activities for families.

Resident input will play a critical role in identifying neighborhood priorities, informing capital improvement projects, shaping land-use recommendations and guiding future City investments. Registration is not required.
