Take the Survey: Share Your Thoughts on Santa Fe City Government

How Should Santa Fe City Government Be Organized?

The City of Santa Fe Charter Review Commission invites full-time city residents to share their perspectives through a community survey.

The City Charter is Santa Fe's basic rulebook for government. It defines how City government is organized, its leaders' responsibilities, and how decisions are made. The commission is reviewing the Charter and gathering public input to help develop recommendations for updates.

The survey asks about:

-The roles of the mayor, City Council, and city manager.

-Planning, budget priorities, and public participation.

-Council representation and how to fill vacant seats.

-What is working well and what could improve.

The survey takes about 10 minutes and is available in English and Spanish. You don't need to be an expert on City government to participate.

Your responses will help inform the commission's recommendations for how Santa Fe's government should be organized.
