The June KWPD monthly report shows a decrease in arrests compared to the same time last year. Click here to view the full monthly report from the Police Department. In June 2025, the Key West Police Department's Communication Center received 5,381 calls. Of those calls, 1,872 came directly to 911. Those calls generated 2,103 calls for service for police/fire/rescue. Compared to June 2024, there was a 5.9% increase in 911 calls, a 1.5% increase in non-emergency calls, and a 4.2% increase in calls for service for police/fire/rescue.
Officers completed 474 police reports and 116 arrests were made. Compared to June 2024, police reports increased by 1.1% and arrests decreased by 14.8%.
A total of 1255 traffic stops (including e-bikes, stand-up scooters, bicycles, golf carts) were conducted. The department issued 214 citations and 180 written warnings.
