West Des Moines Hy-Vee Employee Honored with Picture on Truck for 45 Years of Service

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (May 19, 2026) - The helpful smile of a West Des Moines Hy-Vee employee is now featured on the side of a semi-trailer to honor the more than 45 years of service she has dedicated to the company.

Sam Hilderbrand's picture was unveiled Tuesday morning during a celebration outside the Grand Avenue Hy-Vee where she serves as retail product and pricing specialist.

Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997, and it has since become a cherished tradition.
