AAPA Board of Directors General Election Results Are In!
AAPA members voted to fill Board of Directors General positions with leadership terms starting July 1, 2026

The results of AAPA's Board of Directors election are in, following a two-week voting period that closed on Monday, June 2. The AAPA Board of Directors (BOD) is the governing body responsible for providing direction, oversight, and strategic guidance regarding the business and financial affairs of AAPA.
During the 2026 election cycle, AAPA members selected a new president-elect, secretary-treasurer, and two directors-at-large for the coming leadership term, which begins on July 1, 2026. At the start of the new leadership term, David J. Bunnell, PhD, PA-C, DFAAPA will become President of AAPA.
Below are the physician associates who have been elected to help lead the profession.
