Kelly Bates, Kim Faulk, and Chris Madere, PG, MBA, will chair sessions at the 2026 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) on May 4 through 7 in Houston, Texas.
Kelly is a Senior Professional Geoscientist based in Canada with more than 15 years of professional and academic experience in the energy sector. Her expertise spans of offshore geohazards, development, and survey activities, with a dual focus on oil & gas and windfarm projects.
Kim is a Senior Principal Marine Archaeologist based in Texas with more than 25 years of experience in marine archaeology and more than 20 years of experience in offshore energy. She provides dive support, excavation, conservation, and archaeological interpretations of submerged cultural resources.
Chris is a Senior Principal Geologist based in Texas with more than 25 years of experience providing solutions in complex marine environments with a focus on geohazards, site characterization, and risk management. He has led major projects across the Gulf Coast and has played a key role in expanding Geosyntec's geohazards practice.
OTC is a global event that brings together energy professionals to share technical knowledge and innovations related to offshore resources, including oil & gas, renewables, and marine engineering. It features a large technical program, exhibition, and networking opportunities focused on advancing offshore energy development.
