The initiative to conduct an expedition trip by representatives of ZVEZDA LLC across the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug came from Nadezhda Anatolyevna Filippova, Chair of the Transport and Logistics Working Group of the Northern Forum. During the working trip, the delegation visited several key populated areas: Salekhard, Novy Urengoy, Yar-Sale, Tazovsky, and Messoyakha. The expedition was led by Andrey Alexandrovich Korkh, a member of the Russian Geographical Society and the Association of Polar Explorers. Together with a team of eight people, he held a series of meetings with partners and indigenous residents of the region.

During the trip, the delegation met with friends and colleagues from the Northern Forum. A separate topic of discussion was the meeting with Pavel Valeryevich Lanov, Head of the Interregional Cooperation Development Department at the Department for Indigenous Peoples of the North of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, who previously served as the contact person for the Northern Forum in Yamal.

The culmination of getting acquainted with the region at the Reindeer Herder's Day was a meeting in a traditional chum (nomadic tent). The expedition was invited by Mikhail Nikolaevich Okotetto, a reindeer herder, son of the Nenets people, entrepreneur, and a true patriot of Yamal. In an informal setting, the guests became acquainted with the lifestyle and culture of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic, and also held a presentation of the ZVEZDA LLC all-terrain vehicles for Mikhail Nikolaevich. The meeting allowed for discussions on the prospects of using the equipment in the conditions of reindeer herding routes and the off-road terrain of the Arctic./
