Polk Street Traffic Update

Polk Street will reopen with one eastbound lane by 4 p.m. this afternoon.

Saturday Work
McKinney Street to Greenville Avenue: Crews will begin Saturday morning installing temporary asphalt.

Eastbound Traffic Only
As a reminder, Polk Street will operate as a one-way, eastbound street through the construction area once it reopens. Westbound traffic will not be permitted.

The one-way traffic configuration is expected to remain in place for approximately one year while work continues on the Polk Street development.

Drivers should follow posted signs and use caution while traveling through Downtown Richardson. The City appreciates the community's patience as crews complete this work.
