Officers on patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop for an observed violation at the intersection of Columbia Street and Market Street. It was learned that the vehicle's registration was revoked. The vehicle was towed and the operator, a Cambridge resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.

Police responded to an assault on the 0 block of Magazine St. The reporting party claimed that an individual had punched them in the eye and put their hand in their pocket and stated they were going to shoot them. Officers located the individual, subsequently identified as a Fall River resident, and confirmed they did not have a firearm. The individual will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of Assault & Battery and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

Police responded to a report of a crash on the 100 block of Western Ave. The reporting party claims they were travelling in the bicycle lane when a rideshare app passenger opened a car door causing the bike to crash. The crash damaged the bike and the reporting party reported minor pain but refused medical care. A crash report was taken.

Police responded to a shoplifting on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. A store employee stated an individual had stolen various lotions valued at $41. Officers were unable to located the suspect. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of a check person call on the 200 block of Alewife Brook Pkwy. Dispatch informed officers that the reporting party was seen "huffing on something" in their vehicle. Officers approached a motor vehicle that was running and observed the operator inhaling nitrous oxide from a large can. Officers conducted Standardized Field Sobriety testing and determined that the suspect was impaired. As a result, Liam Patrick Roche, 40, of Tewksbury, Ma was placed under arrest for 1 count Toxic Substance, Inhale, 1 count OUI-DRUGS, and 1 count Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at the intersection of Lawrence St & Magazine St. The reporting party claims the suspicious person had pulled a knife on them in the past and was intimidating to them today. Officers spoke with the suspicious person who claimed they were attacked by the reporting party's dogs in the past. They claim they pulled a pocket knife and held it by their side out of fear of the dogs. Officers advised the suspicious person to avoid the reporting party and their dogs and not to takeout a knife. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 800 block of Somerville Ave. The reporting party claims a group of individuals stole two sodas and a bag of chips. The group fled before officers arrived. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 800 block of Somerville Ave. Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate the suspect. The items shoplifted were returned to the store and the individual was formally trespassed. A query revealed the individual has 6 active warrants out of Boston District Court, Roxbury District Court, South Boston District Court, Cambridge District Court, and Quincy District Court. As a result, officers placed Jeremy Paul Derusha, 37, of Boston,Ma under arrest for Shoplifting by concealment and Six active Warrants.

Police were on patrol when they observed 3 parties huddled in a garage on the 200 block of Green St. Upon speaking to one of the parties, it was discovered they have an out of state warrant. Therefore officers took Siobhan White, 40, unhoused into custody for 1 fully extraditable warrant out of Hampton, VA. Due to above information of active warrant, White is being charged with 1 count of Fugitive from Justice.
