Bethany Children's Home to Honor John Karahuta and Eastern Alliance Insurance at Tribute Gala
Womelsdorf, PA - July 30, 2026 - Bethany Children's Home is proud to announce that JohnKarahuta and Eastern Alliance Insurance will be recognized at the organization's Annual Tribute Gala for their outstanding commitment and lasting contributions to the mission of providing a brighter future for the youth in Bethany's care.
The Annual Tribute Gala will take place on Thursday, October 1, from 5:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the IronSpire Events Complex in Adamstown. The evening will honor the individuals and organizations whose dedication has made a lasting impact on Bethany Children's Home and the youth it serves. This year's honorees reflect a shared commitment to service, partnership, and strengthening the community.

John Karahuta will receive the Caroline Engel Award in recognition of his unwavering dedication to Bethany Children's Home. Karahuta served as Bethany's Education Coordinator at Conrad Weiser High School from 1988 to 1991 and again from 2007 to 2014, where he played a vital role in supporting the educational success and personal growth of countless Bethany students.
Following his years of service as an educator, Karahuta continued his commitment to Bethany by joining the Board of Directors in 2023. Since then, he has remained an active volunteer and advocate for the organization, consistently giving his time, talents, and expertise to support Bethany's programs and the youth in its care. Whether volunteering at events, or contributing to strategic initiatives, Karahuta has continually gone above and beyond in his service.
Eastern Alliance Insurance will be honored with the Legacy Partner Award for more than 25 years of steadfast partnership with Bethany Children's Home. Throughout decades of organizational growth and change, Eastern Alliance has remained a trusted partner, providing comprehensive workers' compensation coverage while supporting Bethany's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
