The City of Yuma invites the community to celebrate the holiday season on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 1 to 9 p.m. on Main Street. This annual event will feature music, community performances, and activities for all ages in Downtown Yuma.
The synthetic ice-skating rink will return, offering free skating in the 300 block of Main Street. Skates will be provided at no cost, or participants may bring their own. Skaters must be at least five years old, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Waivers are required, and families are encouraged to arrive early to reserve a skating time.
The event will also include the lighting of the Main Street Christmas tree and a visit from Santa. Holiday performances by local groups, food vendors, festive decorations, and a kids' activity zone will add to the fun throughout the day.
"Downtown Christmas is a tradition that brings families and friends together to celebrate the season," said Special Events Coordinator Kathy Urfer. "We're excited to welcome everyone back to Main Street for free skating, community performances, and the chance to make new holiday memories together."
