Weirich celebrates 35 years of state service

David Weirich, Management Analyst in the Kansas Department of Transportation's Bureau of Construction and Materials, has achieved a career milestone and is celebrating 35 years of valued service to the state of Kansas.

Weirich has served his entire career with KDOT. He started in 1991 as an Engineering Technician (ET) II at the Garnett Area Office. He was promoted to ET III, then was reclassified and later promoted to ET Senior and then ET Specialist. In 2019, he transferred to his current position in Topeka.
