Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Dec. 3. The contracts included bridge replacements, a slope repair, and pavement resurfacing.

• A $3,768,397 contract was awarded to Joe's Bridge & Grading, Inc., for bridge replacements at the following locations in Ripley County:
  • Route 142 over Drainage Ditch 2,
  • Route W over Drainage Ditch 1,
  • Route W over Drainage Ditch 3, and;
  • Route 142 over Harris Creek.
• An $848,795 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for pavement resurfacing on Route 61 from Route 177 to Drury Lane in Cape Girardeau County.
• A $5,135,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement and bridge resurfacing on Route 160 from south of Route 21 to Route JJ in Ripley County.
• A $1,850,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement resurfacing on the following routes in Howell County:
  • Route 63 from south of Route 60 to north of Route P, and;
  • Route 160 from County Road 6070 to Route 63.
• A $994,394 contract was awarded to Joe's Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route N over Little Saline Creek in Ste. Genevieve County.
• A $3,519,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement resurfacing on Route 34 from Route B to Route 72 in Bollinger County.
• A $369,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement resurfacing on Route J from Route 62 to Route 153 in New Madrid County.
• A $609,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement resurfacing on the following routes in Bollinger County:
  • Route FF from Route H to Route 51, and;
  • Spur N from Route N to the end of state maintenance.
• A $347,398 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for a slope repair on Route 95 at Beaver Creek in Wright County.
