Mr. Chaib meets with national diaspora members in Madrid

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, held a meeting with members of the national community in the consular district of Madrid, as part of his working visit to Spain .

As part of the ongoing meetings programmed with the members of our national community established in the Kingdom of Spain, and the working visit to the country, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, met with members of the national community in the consular district of Madrid, in the presence of the Algerian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain .

The meeting took place in a convivial and fraternal atmosphere, marked by an open dialogue and constructive and rich discussions and was an opportunity to "address various issues and concerns of interest to the members of our national community abroad .

In his address, the Secretary of State emphasized the special attention the country's highest authorities devote to members of our national community abroad, reaffirming "their firm commitment to addressing their concerns efficiently and promptly, and to maintaining permanent and direct lines of communication with them. Chaib also stressed the State's ongoing efforts to modernize and digitize consular services, as well as to simplify their procedures in order to respond to the aspirations of our community abroad, in addition to the ongoing preparations in anticipation of the summer season, notably with regard to the facilitation of the return of our compatriots to the country, to ensure the best conditions of reception and mobility .
