Napa County - Beginning Tuesday July 7, Caltrans will perform daytime lane closures with one-lane traffic control on State Route 128 between Berryessa Knoxville Road and Monticello Dam (between St. Helena, and Napa), primarily through unincorporated Napa County. These closures are necessary to allow crews to safely complete critical highway roadway resurfacing. Motorists should also expect intermittent Saturday work during this period.

Lane Closure Schedule - July 7, through August 21:

  • Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturdays: Intermittent work as needed (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)

What to expect:

  • One-Lane Traffic Control: Flaggers will be used to safely escort traffic through the work zone.
  • Electronic Signs: Changeable Message Signs (CMS) will be activated in the area to provide real-time updates and assist drivers.

Motorists should anticipate travel delays and are encouraged to allow extra time or choose alternate routes.

All work is subject to change based on weather conditions.

Caltrans reminds motorists to "Be Work Zone Alert", slow down and watch for highway workers and equipment.
