2025 is Library of Congress FCU’s 90th Anniversary!

As Library of Congress Federal Credit Union celebrates its 90th anniversary, it continues to serve the unique need of the library community with innovative financial solutions designed to help its member achieve their financial goals.

In 1935, a group of innovative Library of Congress employees came together with a vision to establish a credit union that would help their coworkers and families achieve financial well-being. Though the credit union has grown and changed over the years, that original vision continues to guide LCFCU today. The credit union remains committed to supporting the library community by offering a wide range of financial products and services-both in person and through an array of modern electronic delivery options.
