INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Glen E. Gillis Jr., age 28, on November 1st, 2024. Gillis Jr. was arrested after an investigation conducted by the Washington County Sheriff's Office determined that Gillis Jr. engaged in sexual intercourse with a fifteen-year-old female in April 2020, when Gillis Jr. was twenty-four years of age, at a residence in the Town of Easton, New York.

Throughout the same investigation it was determined that Gillis Jr. also engaged in sexual intercourse with the same female when she was sixteen years of age, at a residence in the Town of Salem, New York in September 2020.Gillis Jr. was located at a residence in the Town of Salem, New York by members of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Charges Filed: Rape 2nd (T/Easton), Rape 3rd (T/Salem)

Gillis Jr. was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment where he was later released on his own recognizance.
