McGee Lecture: Community responses to immigration enforcement, April 23

Learn about and discuss community responses and perspectives related to recent immigration enforcement activity in Minneapolis and Chicago at the annual Department of Social and Cultural Sciences McGee Lecture on Thursday, April 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Weasler Auditorium. Guest speakers include award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer Ben Garvin of Minneapolis and Esmeralda Montesinos, a policy professional with the Chicago-based Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights.

All are welcome, and no registration is required.
