In preparation for Hurricane Helene, the City of Tampa will begin a partial activation of the Emergency Operations Center this evening.

With the impact of Helene expected to be felt in the Tampa Bay area early Thursday morning, the EOC will enter a full activation at 7:00 A.M., Thursday, September 26, 2024. Essential personnel will be working from the EOC through the duration of the storm and post-storm recovery.

The City of Tampa's storm-related emergency hotline is now open. Residents with storm-related questions or concerns can call 1-833-TPA-INFO (872-4636).

The call center will remain open until 8:00 P.M.

As of Wednesday morning, September 25, 2024, Mayor Jane Castor declared a State of Emergency for the City of Tampa. View the executive order here.
