April 13, 2026

Students from Dakota State University's Digital Arts & Design program will display their work in a one-night exhibit on Thursday, April 16 from 7-9 p.m. at the Brickhouse in Madison.

In partnership with the Madison Area Arts Council, the event is a unique opportunity for community members, friends, and family members to view the top student work for the past semester. Displayed works will include digital and hand-drawn pieces, illustrations, sculptures, 2D and 3D animation, photography, sound design projects, and more.

"DAD at MAAC is always a highlight of the semester, showcasing some of the most compelling and creative work our students have been developing," said Wendy Romero, associate professor of art and design at DSU. "Behind each piece is tremendous dedication, late nights, and passion for their craft. This event is not just an exhibition-it's a celebration of our students' growth, their commitment to excellence, and the diverse range of voices and ideas they bring to our program."

Attendees will enjoy free food and drink while perusing the various pieces of artwork and discussing the highlights with the artists.
