One in four adults in Idaho are family caregivers. These individuals provide unpaid support to individuals with physical, intellectual or cognitive disabilities, mental health conditions, chronic illness, or kinship care. Family caregivers are lifesavers and keep families together.

The Idaho Caregiver Alliance, a grant-funded initiative housed in Boise State's School of Population and Public Health, invites Idaho's caregivers to its 15th annual conference.

The Idaho Caregiver Alliance Caregiver Conference aims to highlight the important work of Idaho's caregivers and offer support and resources. This year's conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21via Zoom.

This virtual event celebrates family caregivers of all ages and will feature a variety of interactive sessions. Jason Resendez, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Caregiving, will give the keynote address alongside a full agenda of informative and supportive sessions created to empower caregivers across the lifespan.

The Idaho Caregiver Alliance is offering free registration for all kinship caregivers and students. Visit the Idaho Caregiver Alliance website to learn more and register for the conference.
