Raised as the son of an Alabama preacher, PYNK BEARD grew up steeped in the Biblical lesson to "love your neighbor as yourself" and "to treat strangers with care for in doing so, one might be entertaining angels." That shapes the heart of this track and calls into question our diminishing cultural instinct toward empathy, acceptance and community.
