First Undergraduate STEM Experiences (FUSE) in collaboration with the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) is hosting an event on alternative grading, the 'Grading for Growth: Exploration & Showcase'. This is open to all faculty and staff along the continuum of grading for growth-curious to grading for growth-skeptical.
This event will be a fast-moving, good-vibes mini-workshop where participants will see real UAA examples of alternative grading, steal copy-paste policy language, and leave with a tiny-but-mighty plan they can use next term. Those who are interested in sharing their work during this event or need travel support, should register no later than Oct. 1. Questions can be directed to Rachael Hannah, associate professor of biological sciences, at [email protected].
Event location - LIB 307 and Zoom
Event date - Oct. 24, 2025
