Caracas.- As part of her agenda in the Asian giant, Executive Vice President and Minister of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, visited the facilities of the Artificial Intelligence company iFlyTek in Beijing, with the aim of exploring areas of cooperation in AI applied to the hydrocarbon, healthcare, and education sectors.
"Only China can guarantee that the Global South has access to Artificial Intelligence (AI) for development, not domination," stated Rodríguez.
Technological Innovation
iFlyTek has a diverse portfolio of technological development products and services used by major oil companies and in global e-commerce. For example, China's healthcare and education systems have implemented AI, generating more than 900 million medical records in hospitals.
In the technological field, more than 4 billion electronic devices operate on iFlyTek platforms. iFlyTek has become one of the leading companies in the Asian country, an expert in voice technology and artificial intelligence, having a significant impact on the health of Chinese society.
Strengthening Energy Cooperation
The Executive Vice President also met with representatives of the National Petroleum Corporation of the People's Republic of China (CNPC) during the third day of her working visit to the Asian country.
The Venezuelan Minister of Hydrocarbons expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the corporation's President, Dai Houliang, during a meeting that allowed them to review the energy cooperation agenda and explore new opportunities to strengthen relations between the two nations.
