Spotlighting Roadway Sufficiency

An updated analysis of the Township's roadways will help guide future projects.

The Board of Supervisors on April 3 updated the Township's Roadway Sufficiency Analysis (RSA) Report.

As the second phase of the Township's long-range Transportation Capital Improvement Plan, the Transportation Impact Fee Advisory Committee worked with a transportation consultant and staff to prepare and recommend the findings within the RSA Report. The Report analyzes the future transportation needs in the community over the next 20 years.

The findings from the report will be used during the third phase of the project to develop a program of improvements that efficiently and safely accommodate anticipated traffic as development continues.

The Township adopted an Impact Fee Ordinance in 1991, allowing fees to be imposed on new developments based on the calculated traffic impact.
