In Petrozavodsk, with the involvement of Presidential Aide and Chair of the Maritime Board Nikolai Patrushev, technological equipment underwent operational testing at the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant, where Russia's inaugural digital shipyard is being established.

Additionally, the conversation focused on plans to establish a centre for training shipbuilders within the secondary vocational education system.

During a meeting with Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Northwestern Federal District Alexander Gutsan and Head of the Republic of Karelia Arthur Parfenchikov, Mr Patrushev deliberated on the operation of navigation equipment and navigable hydraulic structures of the White Sea - Baltic Canal.
