For individuals to take advantage of the free rides with Pueblo Transit, verification of individuals receiving SNAP benefits are required by showing a valid EBT card. Free rides are not dependent on final destination for travel or purpose for SNAP recipients to receive free services with Pueblo Transit.
Director of Pueblo Transit Ben Valdez explained, "Our operators will ask for EBT card verification for riders, then we'll be able to assist with access across Pueblo. We're always ready to serve our citizens and visitors to Pueblo, this is just a new opportunity to do so."
