What: PAN AFRICAN CONFERENCE ON TEACHERS' EDUCATION (PACTED 2026)

Theme: "Transforming the Teaching Profession for Africa's Future: Innovation, Recognition, Mobility, Artificial Intelligence, Inclusion and Professional Excellence."

When: 05 - 07 October 2026.

Format: Hybrid (in-person and virtual participation).

Where: Mbabane, Eswatini

Why: Building on the momentum and outcomes of PACTED 2025, Convened within the framework of the African Union Decade of Education and Skills Development (2025-2034), PACTED 2026 will advance the implementation of the Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA 26-35) and related continental frameworks, while positioning teachers at the centre of Africa's education transformation agenda.
