BNC Outage
The Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) has been experiencing a nationwide service disruption since October 9, 2026 that has affected the transmission of official court notices in all U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. Additionally, the following websites are unavailable: bnc.uscourts.gov, bankruptcynotices.uscourts.gov, notices.uscourts.gov, and the National Creditor Registration Service website that supports CM/ECF access to address labels.
During this disruption, the bankruptcy court will continue to accept filings, open cases, and process documents according to standard procedures. The outage does not affect the electronic delivery of Notices of Electronic Filing (NEFs) for users registered to receive notices electronically, and NEFs will continue to be generated and distributed normally through CM/ECF. Rather, the outage has interrupted the BNC's processing and delivery of notices and orders issued by the bankruptcy court, including the service of § 341 meeting of creditors notices. As a result, parties who ordinarily receive notices and orders through the BNC, including pro se parties and others not registered to receive notices through CM/ECF, may experience delays in receiving those documents.
At this time, we do not have an estimated date for restoration of services.
List of Creditors
The outage is also affecting CM/ECF users' ability to access and generate a List of Creditors, also known as the mailing matrix. Until the BNC outage is resolved, CM/ECF users seeking to serve pleadings and delegated notices/orders may access the listing of creditor names and addresses within a case through the following process:
Please note that the creditor list does not include all interested parties to a case, such as the debtor(s), trustees, or the U.S. Trustee. Therefore, parties and counsel should review service requirements to ensure that notice is provided to all appropriate parties, including those not included in the CM/ECF creditor list.
Those who do not have access to CM/ECF should contact the bankruptcy court's Help Desk at (808) 523-7373 for assistance.
Court Deadlines
All scheduled court hearings will proceed as planned unless otherwise ordered. Pursuant to the bankruptcy court's General Order, anyone prejudiced by a missing or late BNC notice due to this outage may request relief from the bankruptcy court.
The bankruptcy court will provide additional updates on this website as information becomes available. For urgent questions about a deadline or an upcoming hearing, please call the bankruptcy court's front desk at (808) 522-8100 or visit the intake counter during normal court hours.
